The PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization established to help the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) achieve excellent health care for its indigent patients. It serves as a conduit of donations coming from various civic-minded individuals, corporations, foundation and other funding agencies. The Philippine General Hospital (PGH), the premier government hospital serves more than 500,000 patients annually, ninety eight percent (98%) of which are indigent. » read more
Presidents Message
The PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGHMFI) was established in 1997 but was dormant for several years. It was revived in 2003. Since then, we have toiled to make the foundation a viable institution. We have been raising funds through many ways and means in order to make significant contributions to improve various services in the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). We are committed to make PGHMFI a true partner of PGH in its quest for excellence in medical service. » read more

The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) takes care of a large number of our countrymen critically in need of medical attention. The charity patients of the hospital receive free medical care, but most are not able to afford the cost of medicines or the laboratory tests necessary in the treatment of their illness. Government budget to the hospital remains insufficient. » read more
